Arts 2000, the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts’ national exhibition and sale of Canadian visual arts, crafts, and design, was a part of the Millennium Fund initiatives sponsored by the Government of Canada. The Royal Canadian Academy of Arts is an honourary, non-profit organization of more than 790 established professional artists and designers from all regions of Canada, practicing more than 30 visual arts disciplines.
Gottschalk+Ash created an identity for Arts2000 which symbolizes creativity in the visual arts — combining the artist’s eye for seeing and the hand for creating — which proved to be an excellent marketing tool for promoting the event and attracting corporate sponsorship.
